You already know that we are fans of good experiences, so there is nothing better than to unite good series with unforgettable trips! Check it out:
Monsanto – Portugal

The tranquil historic village, which sits on the side of a steep rise, gave a good buzz as it welcomed the mega-structure of the HBO recordings.
A beautiful stone fortress should appear in the scenes. The production has even tapped some locals to act as extras in the series.
Cáceres – Spain

For the sake of House of the Dragon logistics, this town is 2 hours away from Monsanto (we can already smell the travel script).
The city has an architecture with Renaissance, Islamic, Roman and Italian styles. It has already been seen in Game Of Thrones, as the setting of King’s Landing in season 7.
Tip: the Arco de la Estrella, Cuesta de la Compañía and the Plaza de Santa María appear in the series.
Cornwall – United Kingdom

Apparently, many scenes were shot in the Cornwall region of England. St Michael’s Mount, a fortress that is separated from the mainland in the event of high tide, will be the setting for the island of Blackwater Bay, home to House Velaryon.
We also have the beaches and caves of Kynance Cove which serve as a family camp. Holywell beach, will host a scene involving Daemon and Rhaenyra.
Lloret de Mar – Spain

This city is a real treasure on earth, even away from the main tourist routes. The recordings took place in the Santa Clotilde Gardens, where the sea view and the Italian Renaissance style landscaping enchant even the most icy hearts.
Transparent water beaches are joined by an incredible historical centre and lots of entertainment, such as golf and nautical sports. To complete the combo, the Catalan region has excellent Mediterranean climate temperatures, outdoor tables, bars and restaurants.
